Pablo is a spirited, life-embracing being who breathes passion for human actualization in life. “What gives meaning to life?” is often better understood as “What robs life of meaning?”, he’ll say.

When I was asked to shoot the DOC20 images, it was very inspiring for me. Working with young people with a clear goal in life works stimulating. Especially because I recognise a lot of my self there in them.

"I've been fighting for my spot in society for years and it is a hard and sometimes lonely (and endless) fight. I'm searching for those who wish to fight together to get the best out of you. People who dare to stand tall and don't want to give in to the sometimes ruling life motto: that's just the way it is."

Thomas Vaassen (26) graduated from international business studies last year. Right after his studies he founded Realize! with two close friends, an enterprise in 'the transformation business', supporting and facilitating individuals, groups and organization in change processes. Although the last four years they've devoted most of their private time towards building this enterprise and putting their dreams into practice, it still was a bit of a gamble. But it worked: "We are now earning our income doing the things we are passionate about!"
